personal challenges

Our Sponsors always have fantastic ideas to raise funds for CAN. Below are some examples, but we trust you to be creative and will be there to support you.

EDITOR OF A NEWSLETTER AT 9 YEARS OLD

Katrina is our youngest supporter and we are amazed by the dedication she has shown. Katrina started a newsletter in 2007 when she was 9 which she wrote every Saturday and sold for 5p, initially to her family. As it was very well written and full of humour, the newsletter became very popular and was distributed to a large number of people. This has been great publicity for CAN, and she has raised nearly £3,000 for us and written more than 100 newsletters.

A VERY SPECIAL FASHION SHOW

Isabella was only 11 years old when she decided to organise a fashion show to raise funds for CAN.

She negotiated the clothes with M&S and managed to have the local press for the show.

COOK A MEAL FOR COLLEAGUES

Before going to Nepal to volunteer in LBU, Sarah and her mum Fay cooked up a vegetarian Indian meal for her colleagues and asked everybody to donate £5 for Child Action Nepal.

As she managed to get the ingredients for free from her local grocer, all the £192 went directly to the children.
