There are many Sport challenges you can do to raise funds for CAN. Below are some examples:
London 10K
Each year CAN has 6 places for 6 runners interested in participating in the London 10K. It is a great run taking in the most interesting landmarks including Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey.
Marathon
From time to time, we have a place for the London Marathon. In previous years, our runners have not only beaten their personal record times but have proved fantastic fundraisers for CAN.
Trek In Nepal
If you are a group of 10 or 15 people, we will be happy to organise a trek in Nepal including a visit to the orphanage.
We organised such a trek in 2007 and the group raised £15,000 for CAN.
Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100
Celebrating the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts at 06:00 in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. It finishes on The Mall in central London.
In 2018, the event will be on Sunday 29th July and we have 7 places, but please contact us as soon as possible (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) as they go quickly.
